England 2022 title

ENGLAND 2022

This is a test to see how it would work for doing daily updates while in England next month.

Here's where we're staying. It's actually a picture of some warped maple I was working with.

More writing here, then maybe another a link to some place we went.

Then more writing.

Now I'll see how it looks.

Does anyone know about this group?

I was just reading how the Mass. Foundation for the Humanities funded over $2,000 to UMass in Amherst to introduce the newly established New England News Forum. I went to their website and here's the link below.

I'm curious to know what you think about it!

Great Idea!

Hi, Everyone!
Many thanks to Susan for setting up this blog which I think will become a valuable resource to keep everyone "in the loop." As a part-time adjunct working another full-time job, it's difficult to attend the meetings and get-togethers so I hope to be able to exchange ideas and suggestions with you all via this forum. FYI, we're going into a potentially difficult year here at Bristol Community College with virtually no experienced staffers returning and no one in place to take over the editor's slot. I may need all the help I can get! Looking forward to blogging with you in the days and weeks ahead ...

Thank you, Susan

Great job setting up the blog. I am sure this will be very helpful in keeping us all connected. I hope we get a big turnout on the 28th. I'll be there. --Jim

Heads Up...especially if you live in western and central Massachusetts!

The first SNACCIM meeting of the year will be held at Mount Wachusett Community College in Gardner....oh so close to many of you!

Please note this date on your calendars: Friday, September 28 at 1 p.m.

We'll have a lunch ready for you and a tour of our newsroom (don't close your eyes because you might miss it!). We also have exciting issues to talk about...at least two of us have had big problems with administrators. Also, hear more about the SNACCIM statewide conference planned for next April!

While this meeting is open to everyone, I am extending a special invitation to members who live in the Worcester, Springfield, Holyoke areas. If you haven't been to a meeting yet, please consider coming to this one. We're practically in your backyard! And I would so love to meet and talk with all of you in this part of the state.

Please come!

Welcome!

This is a newly-created blog for all members of SNACCIM and friends!

Since we live across the state of Massachusetts, we thought having a blog might be one way for all of us to stay in touch.

Use this blog to make announcements, to ask questions, to share an anecdote, to link to articles that might interest the group and more! We are a great resource for each other and we need to take advantage of our cumulative experience more often!
